Speaking of Jesus, Ephesians 4:8 says ..."When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men".
I want to talk to you about the gifts of creativity. Our church body is blessed with creative, talented people that lead us in worshipping the Lord extravagantly in service, print, video, hospitality, music, dance, drama, banners and more. How many ways can the Lord express Himself through us? The answer is as many ways as there are hands and hearts yeilded to him. We will see the unfolding of many more expressions of praise as we live out our destinies in Jesus Christ.
Heaven comes to Earth when a person of God's creation moves in their giftings, when the talent the Father put in the soul of that person is expressed for His glory. A foot reaches the promised land when one believes that God has a plan and destiny for their talent and that person steps out in their calling.
I am stepping out in a talent that the Lord has given me. I draw and paint pictures. I want to worship the Lord in color and form, I want to share the visions that he gives me for the body of Christ. I am asking you to help me imagine what this could look like in our church. I want other artist to join me in learning to experience God in this way. I know you are out there. There is a place for you. Help me dream big with God for the expression of this gift He has for us.
Lets talk about it. Gail Vinson

Oh I'm so excited! God has been giving me some blurry ideas. I say blurry because I can't see them very well in my head just yet. I need to get closer so I can see the details. But it's going to be good, I know. He's also giving me some sketchy ideas for some things that I think are totally outside of my realm of creativity. But hey, when has God ever limited His coloring to inside the lines?
Oh yes! Let's get outside the lines.
Yay, Gayle,
I don't get to talk to you very much and you have so much to share.
I am really happy you are blogging now, too.
Welcome.
You are so right about God's Gifts. I pray for more hearts to be open and receptive for the gifts He has in store.
